This agreement aims to promote the rehabilitation of buildings and housing with basic deficiencies. In this way, the administration helps to finance the actions that are necessary to correct them and improve their conditions of accessibility and energy efficiency.
In this way, the Municipality of Estepona will act as a collaborating entity in the management of applications and in the delivery and distribution of subsidies for the rehabilitation of housing to beneficiaries. The local administration will have the duty to check the applications and verify that the beneficiaries meet the conditions and requirements to qualify for this type of aid.
These grants may be applied for by landlords or tenants when they agree to pay for the works in return for payment of rent. The income of the resident cohabitation unit must be less than 5.50 times the IPREM. Likewise, they may not have obtained aid for the same dwelling in the previous three years.
If you meet the requirements, we provide full service, design and build, our architects first check the feasibility and provide a full assessment, followed by technical report, and a quotation. Later on, we help with the legal paperwork, in order to apply for the subsidy.
